Here you can see both old and new watches fitted with Durowe movements. STOWA and Schauer have produced some limited watch series using "new old stock" movements, i.e. old movements that have thus far not been incorporated into watches, over the past 10 years. These movements have been taken apart, cleaned and in many cases optically refined (e.g. by adding decorative polishes for pinions, along with blued screws) and sub- sequently reassembled. They are then used for high-quality, limited series. |
This watch has been milled by Schauer and lovingly constructed by hand. It represents the successful symbiosis of the arts of goldsmithing and watch- making (made in Germany). |
