DUROWE had already anterior a high quality requirement
and tried to appear very innovative on the German market.
In 1957 a chronometer movement, the caliber Durowe 630,
has been developed in collaboration with a German watch
manufacturer. Unfortunately it has been taken from the
market quiet fast because of too high costs. (appr. 1959,
origin: Chronos 03/1993).

Today the movement is very desired by watch collectors.
We show one exemplar in our STOWA museum.
Other‚ small complications‘ which bear witness of high
innovative energy are for instance the mechanical digital
watch movements which were produced in the 70s or
the minustop watch movement (simpler chronograph
mechanism).

These and other Durowe watch movements are shown up
in the STOWA museum in numerous historical watches.
