Jörg Schauer has owned the Durowe trademark since 2002 and has tried for more than 15 years to find spare parts for old Durowe calibres. Whenever he finds some, he stores them, but has not yet found the time to sort them, which is why it is currently almost impossible to respond to requests for spare parts. Once the company has moved to its new premises in March 2009, the stock of spare parts for Durowe and STOWA watches will be gradually sorted and a newly developed logistics system will be implemented. |
It will then (approximately by the middle/end of 2009) be possible to respond to requests for spare parts within a reasonable time (at least by using all the resources available). Schauer intends to answer requests from collectors in order to help as many of them as possible. As Durowe has built more than one hundred different calibres, the success of a request for spare parts will also depend on luck a little. In either case we will try to help you as much as possible. Please note, however, that before the middle of the year, at least, we will not be able to follow up on your requests for spare parts, as all components are "hidden" in innumerable bags and boxes. |
